Joan is phenomenal! As a nurse, it is totally a different world being on the other side of the bed. She treated me with respect, but still explained things to me, not assuming that I wouldn't have questions because I'm in healthcare. Joan has a very caring and gentle spirit. Her conversation and laughs as I get out of surgery were exactly what I needed. Joan treated me like a person and not just another patient. She is truly incredible! She proved to be the best patient advocate and addressed my needs very quickly while also keeping me updated.
