My son was admitted to the 4th floor and Joana took care of him in a very sweet way.
She made him feel safe with her smiley face. She always remained calm and made a lot of effort to keep him calm. She was thoughtful, kind and competent. I trusted that she knew what she was doing and she was doing everything she could to calm the fears my son had. She made us feel that she cared for him as a person, not just a patient.
There are all kinds of human beings who were put on the earth to make a difference and Joana is definitely one of the exceptional nurses. She is kind, caring and compassionate to people she has never met before. Joana is an exceptional example of compassion, respect, and professionalism you hope your family will be treated with.
