Joanie provided me with an excellent clinical summary of a patient whom I did not know [as the on-call physician]. This lead to an appropriate diagnostic evaluation and quick treatment. She was very clear-headed and gave me such an organized presentation that it was easy to make an accurate provisional diagnosis. Nurses such as Joanie are a precious resource!

Just thinking about Joanie brings tears to my eyes, and they are tears of joy. Nurse Joanie is the most comforting individual I have ever met. Her compassion was beyond belief. My surgery wasn't successful, as I had prayed for it to be. However, Joanie's words of encouragement were an extreme uplift.

In my anxiety and concern about my second surgery that will be taking place in Denver, Nurse Joanie reminded me who was in control. I will never ever forget this wonderful lady, she was heaven sent to care for me, and what a wonderful job she did. When I saw her face in the morning I was like a little kid, and the days that she told me she would be off I actually shed a few tears because I was going to miss her.
