Joann took care of me 3 nights while I was on 1B. She was able to give me options on which medications I needed to be awoken for during the nights. She was holding my hand when I cried in pain or fear. She was by my side when the Neuro Surgeon scheduled me into his busy schedule. She was an angel after my surgery as I was not in a good state following the operation. She came up to the 4th floor to visit me and she made me smile. I couldn't remember where I was or what had happened but I do remember her and her bright light of encouragement she brought with her. I don't think I could have made it through without her compassion.

All your nurses have been amazing but Joann is an angel on earth with so much compassion and kindness.
