Unfortunately for me I have been in the eating disorder program many times. I must commend Joanne on her fantastic connection to all the patients. Her compassion for us is beyond measure. I have yet to see her be short, snippy or chastising in her responses in even the most difficult of situations. Whenever I have dealt with her, her gentle way of handling things calms me down immediately. I know that nursing is a job, but Joanne goes so far beyond nursing just being her "job" that her compassion boggles the mind and the heart. She is the BEST!
