Joanna Collins, ADN, RN

Joanna was taking care of Mr R who was very upset about his upcoming surgery, tearful and depressed. Joanna listened to him, prayed with him, and reached out for a chaplain to visit him. She washed his hair and helped to loosen all the tiny knots from being in bed. She helped soothe his reddened eyes from crying by ordering eye drops. Mr. R perked up with Joanna's interventions and went into surgery with a positive attitude the next day.
