Joanna Gamez, MSN, RN

Joanna has been instrumental in creating standardized onboarding processes that ensure every new team member enters the KPBP with a strong, consistent foundation. Her work goes beyond orientation; she has thoughtfully designed programs that set clear expectations, build clinical confidence, and promote safe, high-quality care from day one. Because of her efforts, staff are not only better prepared but also feel supported and set up for success in their roles.

In addition, Joanna has led the development and implementation of mock codes to strengthen staff readiness. These simulations have been critical in ensuring that teams are prepared to respond effectively in high-risk, time-sensitive situations. Through this work, she has helped build competence, coordination, and confidence among staff; ultimately improving patient safety and outcomes.
