I have had two recent surgeries requiring hospitalization and this recent stay at Sky Lakes. I was admitted through the ED and was moved to the care of Joanna. She offered steady and kind care from my arrival to departure.
Having had so many caregivers, I knew I was lucky to have an advocate helping me navigate the potentially serious and mysterious case I had. With a full patient load, she assured me that I was her top priority and always greeted each obstacle with compassion and skill.
Of course, her nursing skills were top notch, but it was her grace and compassion under pressure that makes her a DAISY Nurse. My sincere thanks and gratitude.
