I brought my daughter to the ED at 1:45 a.m. and we were taken into triage immediately. Joanna was the assigned nurse and she quickly took care (thankfully!) of making my daughter more comfortable while waiting for the doctor. She was very warm, extremely competent and put my daughter at ease and established a great rapport with both of us. After she was discharged and we went home, we went back Sunday night at 9:45 due to resurgence of symptoms. While in the ED room, Joanna stopped by to say 'Hi' and chat for a minute. It's exactly that - that makes patient care. And the genuine staff thoughtfulness that makes OSF St. Joseph our go-to Hospital!
