One of my family members came into the emergency department and was being cared for by Joanne and he received exceptional treatment.
I have watched Joanne practice nursing here at Tyler for the past decade and when I say she has given exceptional care to these patients, I truly mean it. In the Emergency Department, tough love is a must, and the way Joanne has delivered that over the years has surely changed a few lives. Not only have I been able to experience the way Joanne cares for a patient professionally, but I have also been able to experience it with family.
One of my family members came into the emergency department and was being cared for by Joanne and he received exceptional treatment. She continued to ask about him and always told me she was praying for him. The level of compassion Jojo has for the people she works with as well as cares for is something all nurses should strive for. While she is delivering tough love she is also delivering compassion through her time with them. She belongs among the daisies.
