Joanne Deferville has been nominated for the DAISY Award! She began working at Sherman Hospital 35 years ago in the Cardiac Care Unit. Her passion for cardiology led her to pioneer the creation and implementation of Sherman’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program approximately 30 years ago. Joanne has devoted her career to ensuring the program’s growth and success, and she continues to work full-time in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department.
With all her years of expertise and quality customer service, Joanne is a valuable asset to the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. Her knowledge of caring for this fragile population is something that can only be gained with time and dedication. She is an inspiring resource of experience and clinical skill. Joanne has a strong passion for patient centered care that the department and our customers benefit from every life, every moment, and every day!
