Joanne was nominated by a patient who had a great connection with her. The patient described in her nomination how Joanne treated her with utmost dignity and respect; making her feel like a grown-up and not like a child. Joanne and her patient spent many fun hours together and they often shared their favorite moments from a television show. The most inspiring aspect about this nomination was that the patient told us that she was inspired by Joanne to become a nurse someday. We are very proud of Joanne and we congratulate her on her DAISY Award!
