March 2022 Honoree
Jobelle Miranda Cabigting, BSN, RN
I was admitted for shoulder surgery and I met Jobelle. Upon admission, she asked me how do I feel? She explained to me the use of equipment in the room. I appreciate the way she makes me feel secure and comfortable. Before OR, I needed to bathe, she offered her help, but I refused, but she still insisted and explained to me the importance of her presence. After the operation, she explained to my husband about calling for assistance and explaining when I will eat. She came to my room even when not called. She asked me about my pain, anything that I needed, and also about going to the toilet. She always smiled when she greeted me. When giving me medicine, she always explained why I need this medication. I wanted to stop the machine they were putting on my legs but she explained to me the advantage of it. She was so caring and polite. I really admire the care and the compassion she gave me. All staff who cared for me are excellent but this nurse is the best.
Thank you, Jobelle, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
