You stepped in and I will never forget this, you knew one more day in the hospital would make a difference to me.
I know you attend to so many patients every day, but perhaps you will remember me. My son was hit by a car in a hit and run and you were one of his wonderful nurses. I understand if you don’t remember us, either way, I write to you not only for the care you gave my son in his time of helplessness but for all the loving care and dedication you give to all your patients. As a mother, you know that the love we have for our kids is endless and when we see one of our kids in a helpless and painful situation it means everything in the world for someone to care and help them. There is no price of gratitude enough to give to you.
You were there in my desperate moment even when I was not comfortable with taking my son home. The doctor wanted me out and told me I had no rights. When you got there, you went out of your way and made the doctor let me stay. You helped me so much, I was so immensely grateful. You stepped in and I will never forget this, you knew one more day in the hospital would make a difference to me.
I’m happy to let you know my son is doing great. Today he went out by himself to feed his dogs with his walker of course, but he is slowly recovering thanks to God and to the dedication and human love you gave him. In the Bible, it reminds us to always have the same love for each other and being completely united with humility by always considering others superior to us as we look out not only for our own interest but also for the interest of others. And this is what you are doing. Thank you!
