Jocelyn exhibits exceptional skills working with patients. As a nursing student, she was part of our medical team working with refugees from multiple countries, cultures, and languages, as well as homeless Greek people. She showed amazing compassion to each person she was with. They received her undivided attention. They immediately felt trust and were relaxed with her. Most of the ladies and children hugged her before leaving!

Jocelyn was not hesitant to make patient care recommendations and questioned how the patients would be cared for once they left the clinic. She definitely advocated for each one in a gentle but strong manner. She was a team player and worked to keep the team united to achieve the mission's goals. Jocelyn always has a radiant smile on her face that reflects her inner beauty. That went a long way with refugees who were a bit hesitant that they would be accepted and treated with respect based on their history as refugees. Of the hundreds of nursing students who have been on international medical trips with me, she is definitely in the top 5 whom I would recommend to anyone any day.
