My son had a scary medical experience a couple of years ago, and he really doesn't like any procedure at the doctor's office. He is very difficult to swab, and no matter how much we talk about it, he fights. He is normally well-behaved, but when it comes to medical procedures, he is difficult.

He has had recurrent episodes of strep throat over the last year, but we have had such great care at the CMH Walk-In Clinic from Jocelyn. My son cooperates with her, and I think it's because she is so patient with him. She has come up with a special method for getting him swabbed, and he doesn't fight it at all. He even tells us now he only wants to be swabbed by her.

She has been so great this past year. My son hasn't ever had antibiotics until this all started, so he has had a very small number of doctor visits. We also had an experience where the machine said his strep test was negative, and she ran it again just to make sure—and it was positive. Where else would someone go out of their way and take the time to do that? She has just really gone above and beyond for him.
