Jocelyn Navera, RN, BSN

I am honored to nominate Jocelyn for the DAISY Award due to her extraordinary compassion, dedication, and clinical excellence. Jocelyn, as charge nurse, updates the patient's whiteboard while completing rounds. Her professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail exemplify what it means to be a nurse. Jocelyn has helped me many times here and always does it with so much enthusiasm and kindness. She has the most uplifting attitude and brings a positive surrounding to where she works. One time in particular, she helped me place an NG tube in an unconscious patient in the ICU. She has successfully placed many hard stick IVs for patients and my coworkers. She is always a complete joy to work with. Jocelyn treats everyone with the same level of professionalism and respect.
