While in a rapid, she went out of her way to try to comfort the patient allowing me enough time to do my job effectively. The patient was very disoriented and didn't understand what was going on and she displayed compassion and concern for the patient's safety and well-being.

In the two years as an overnight phlebotomist, I've always noticed her willingness to help her staff in anything they need. I've seen her go out of her way to make sure the patients feel heard and taken care of. She has never said no to helping lab techs get patients to agree to labs being drawn. She also never lets stat orders go too long without being drawn.

I know that if I had any family members hospitalized here, I'd feel safe knowing she's' s taking care of them. She always makes sure the whole night team is doing okay. She checks up on everyone one of us, even if she's not a free charge. Whenever I see that she is going to be charge nurse for the night, I know I can rely on her for help and guidance. I hope she works here for years to come.
