Jodi was one of my nurses throughout the labor and delivery of my first child. From the minute I got into the hospital, beyond providing exceptional patient care, Jodi provided profound support, emotionally and physically. As demanding as child labor was, and as supportive as Jodi was throughout all of this, she was even more supportive during the difficult news of my daughter needing to be transferred by ambulance to Marshfield. She shared personal stories with me so I did not feel alone, reassured me this was best for my daughter, and she even wheeled me down with Nurse Tiffany to "send me off" as a new mom experiencing a terrifying situation during something so physically exhausting. From a clinical side, without Jodi's articulate, layman's-level communication, I would not have understood what my daughter, as a patient, was facing. She recognized the lack of clarity in the situation and went above and beyond to make sure we adequately understood our options. I sincerely can't imagine going through something so terrifying, difficult, and full of angst without having Jodi there. My husband, daughter, and I were so lucky to have her.

Jodie was overall there for everything. She made me feel more secure being a first-time mom. Jodi was able to answer all my questions with realistic answers and advice. Her attitude was always positive, creating an easy going environment.
