Jodi Neal, RN, OCN is an extraordinary nurse. Her nomination included multiple examples of Jodi's expert oncology nursing practice, her calm in a crisis, and extraordinary compassion for her patients and their families.
In one example, Jodi advocated for a patient in pain, who learned her medicines were not covered by insurance. Jodi quickly intervened, coordinating care on the patient's behalf with the provider, insurance company and pharmacy to ensure the patient got what she needed
A provider in the clinic said of Jodi, "I could go on for hours about her and what she means to the clinic and patients." She is an amazing patient advocate and always finds the help her patients need.
