Jodi Owens is a valuable member of the Surgical Unit's caregiver team. She is professional, efficient and provides all in her care with excellent service. She embraces and promotes initiatives on the floor such as bedside reporting, and charting as well as being a strong leader in hourly rounding.
It is not surprising that when "super human" work was called for, she rose to the occasion. While on her way home from work, Jodi and her husband observed a man lying on the ground near a busy intersection with 2 bystanders. They stopped and working in sync as a team provided CPR, luckily for him he survived a massive heart attack and was admitted to ELMC ICU. The thing I admire most is how Jodi cared for this stranger on the street corner with the same passion she displays here at work.
