Jodi S Rakes, RN

Jodi is our angel. She was our day nurse during our loved one's stay when we had to say goodbye to him. He had a heart attack and Jodi was his nurse for the entire time. She was actually off on two days, but she somehow managed to change shifts to be with him and us. We have a large family and were mostly there the whole time. Jodi not only took care of him, she took care of all of us in a way no one else could.

Unfortunately for him, he had 100% irreversible brain damage and never gained consciousness. The decision was made to take him off of life support but we had to wait until two days later because he was an organ donor. Jodi was with us for most of that journey and we are just so thankful for all of her help and guidance through this tragic time. Without her help, our family would be more broken than we are. Thank you, Jodi! We love you.
