At approximately 8 am I received a call from my husband asking about symptoms of appendicitis. I explained the symptoms and he had them so I told him to come into the ED. He was quickly taken to the back where we met his lovely nurse Jodi. She was patient and acted quickly to get his pain under control. When everything came back OK, my husband was discharged. He and my son went home and I went back to work. At approximately noon my bleeding became more of a hemorrhage and I was concerned. I walked to the ED, Jodi saw me and took me right back to the same area my husband had been. She was very sweet about keeping me calm and addressing my concerns. She quickly gave meds as ordered by the doctor. The care she gave us both was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to get us comfortable and feeling better. She was very careful to provide me with privacy.
