Jodie Schultz, RN

Jodie had a profound impact on 2 different patients and families she cared for - one a new mom and the other who had to be induced for a fetal demise at 20 weeks gestation. Two very different situations, but she managed to make both experiences memorable outcomes. This is how Jodie is with all of her patients.

Last fall, we honored Jodie for being the OB RN with the most personal recognitions during FY20 with 14 shout-outs, all citing similar comments. She is an amazing nurse and is very passionate about the care she provides and the relationships she creates. She is also very humble and thinks it's just part of the job.

This past spring, one of our ED RNs was having difficulties getting baby #3 to latch on and breastfeed. Jodie had never met this nurse, but is a certified lactation counselor, so agreed to drive to her home to assist her on her off time - free of charge. Jodie's passion makes her extraordinary!
