When Jody goes into a patient's room, he puts all of his attention and energy into making them feel important. He always makes them feel comfortable, along with their family members. He puts his patients' needs above anything else and gives the best care he can possibly give. He always educates them about medicines, procedures, and anything they want to know about. I have seen him talk to patients wanting to sign out AMA and convince them to stay by explaining the risks and showing compassion for how they are feeling. He always listens to what they have to say and makes them feel heard. His compassion and caring nature make his patients feel safe, understood, and well cared for. He truly is one of a kind and always puts his heart and soul into caring for others.
