Jody is like an angel in disguise. Words cannot begin to describe how Jody went above and beyond for our family. My grandmother lost the love of her life last year.  She had Alzheimer's disease, but otherwise was physically healthy.  She was set to move into a memory care assisted living facility when our family soon realized that Grandma was dealing with grief and ready to go be with Grandpa.  She had slowed down her eating and wanted to sleep all of the time.  Our family decided that it would be best to keep Grandma at home and respect her wishes and stop "making" her eat.  We knew that to keep Grandma at home, the place she knew and was comfortable in, it would require us to get Hospice involved.  Unfortunately, things quickly turned around the holidays and we were informed that we could not get an intake appointment for her until the following Wednesday.  We accepted the appointment but made the comment that Grandma might not make it that long.  Jody heard this and decided to work on her day off to help with my Grandmother's Hospice intake. Going into the New Year weekend Jody advocated for our family and helped arrange all the necessary tools we would need caring for Grandma in her home.  While she was with our family, the caring and compassion she showed towards our entire family was outstanding.  If it had not been for Jody working on her day off, my Grandmother would have been uncomfortable in her final days with us. She indeed did pass away before the Wednesday we were originally scheduled for an intake. Thank you, Jody, from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate you more than you know.
