Joel's kindness and compassion are at a level that you rarely find these days. He was very attentive to my daughter without being intrusive. He made her laugh which gladdened my heart. Joel even gave her a Lean Cuisine meal which I would bet, came from his own supply. Before Joel left at the end of his shift, he came in her room to say goodbye and speak some encouraging words to my daughter. Joel is everything a nurse should be. He made one of the worst nights of my life, easier. I can never truly express how thankful I am that he was working in the Emergency Department that night.
