I was thinking of leaving AMA after feeling trapped here at the hospital for the 5th day and just didn’t care anymore. Joel sat me down and told me at my young age (28) that I had a lots of life left to live. I owed myself at least to try and get better. His words made me find the courage to continue my fight, in my personal opinion his caring compassionate nature is how every nurse should be.
