Joelle Hirst, BSN, RN, SANE A/A, SANE P/A, SANE-A

Ms Joelle Hirst serves as the Nortons Children's Hospital Evidence Based Council Chair and is very active in promoting legislation to reduce child abuse. She is one of a very few pediatric SANE nurses in the state of Kentucky. She recently collaborated with the Iocal Zeta chapter and KBN to present nursing care for the sexually abused child as a free CE event. Her work to improve nursing job satisfaction was recently selected as one of only eight group seminar discussions at AONL conference. She is also a University of Louisville School of Nursing PhD student.
