Joetta had not only immediately seen to his comfort needs, but she had also brought her charting supplies into my dad’s room and sat with him the whole time we were gone, knowing that he was distressed.
My dad ended up in the Bariatric unit, a heart patient in stage 4 heart failure. His care was incredible, your staff was beyond amazing, kind, and patient; much of which was required due to my dad’s obsessive, worrying nature and desire to know everything that is happening to him and its possible outcomes. Joetta took it upon herself to bring a cart of snack items and soft drinks to my dad’s doorway, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. But what touched my family the most was that my dad had been sedated and we decided to go out to eat, my brother, his family, and my kids; a family gathering which isn’t something we do often.

After returning from a rather long wait for dinner, my dad had come out of sedation and begged for us to please not leave him again. I was devastated that we hadn’t returned earlier. But much to my surprise, Joetta had not only immediately seen to his comfort needs, but she had also brought her charting supplies into my dad’s room and sat with him the whole time we were gone, knowing that he was distressed. The way she cared for him, gently providing human touch while administering medications, wiping his forehead, and so much more was beyond description. I can honestly say, if I ever had to have a personal nurse, she would be my # 1 choice. She provided him with compassionate, professional care.
