Joette Gay, RN

I recently watched Joette go above and beyond for a patient who was in our emergency department for 19 days. Joette not only worked behind the scenes to get the patient placed, she also spent her personal time with this patient seven days a week. She walked this patient around the hospital, bought clothes for the patient, and developed a close relationship with the patient. By the end of the patient's stay with us, she called Joette 'that lady'. The Patient would ask, "Where is that lady?" Joette's leadership and devotion to the community we serve is unlike any other.
