There's a lot of loving and caring nurses at TGH but, this one went way above and beyond her call of duty. First off, Johan was my day nurse who immediately began to see how she could make me feel as normal as possible in my sickness. She got my face washed, teeth brushed and even offered to shampoo, and blow dry my hair. And if that wasn't enough, she stayed right by my side all day as I was having 3 stents put in. Johan went along with me and held my hand until my procedure began then she was right there with her gentle, loving and compassionate way to continue my care for the entire day. She could have stayed in the unit and get caught up on her work, she chose to stay by my side. She was truly my Angel!
