We have been blessed by receiving excellent nursing care throughout my husband's entire hospitalization. However, one nurse exemplifies your mission statement to the fullest. We are from out of town and not familiar with Council Bluffs. I am being treated for severe hypertension and left my most important medication at home. Johanna contacted the pharmacy in Council Bluffs on my behalf as they are my pharmacy at home. She was able to get a small amount of medication for me until I saw a doctor. She took it upon herself to pick up my medication during her lunch hour. She helped me maintain an acceptable blood pressure until I saw the doctor. This hospital is fortunate to have such caring staff as their employees.
