Johara Samara, RN

Samara is outstanding, personable, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding! She was there with me during a trying time. I had to have two blood transfusions, which started at 9 pm and went on until 3 am. She made sure everything went well. She explained what was going to happen, why it had to be done a certain way, and what could happen when a person received a transfusion. Very much on top of my concerns and needs.

Prior to the transfusions, she performed her normal nursing duties and checked on me. At the end of her shift, she went out of her way to find out what needed to be done and then stayed on to irrigate my catheter, and then changed it, which needed to be done. Johara made a stressful time for me easier to deal with!
