John's attentiveness and sense of humor is a constant morale booster for both the patients and the staff. Having been a patient care technician John understands and respects the importance of every member of the healthcare team. He is receptive to their insight. His biggest passion is hearing the patient both mind and spirit without getting "tunnel-vision" and treating only the symptoms. He encourages patients to regain their independence, always explaining to them why it is important to their healing process. I have observed John comforting the families of deceased patients with the warmth and caring of a family friend. I am proud to know and work with John.
