John Best, RN

The patient was hospitalized on his 69th birthday. He told John all he wanted was to make it to his birthday. This patient is very sick, in isolation, and maxed out on Optiflow. John went above and beyond for this patient.

He went to Winchell’s before work and brought the patient a doughnut and gathered a group of night shift workers together to sing happy birthday to him. The patient was so moved by his gesture and kindness that he cried.
