We had John as a nurse early on. Later, my dad was feeling down after a long stay in the hospital. One night, after I left to go home to get stuff ready for Dad’s eventual discharge, John stopped in to see how Dad was doing. Seeing that Dad was feeling low, he stayed and watched TV with Dad after he got off work. This lifted my dad’s spirits and even got him laughing. John is invested in the well-being of his patients beyond what is expected or required.
