I met John for the first time this morning and I was thoroughly impressed! He was friendly, professional, caring, and understanding of my sister's condition. All day long he was in doing what needed to be done. He is one terrific young man. He has an exceptional bedside manner!
Additionally, John explained to another family member my sister's condition in terms we could understand. He was honest about the seriousness of her condition, but also encouraging. As the day progressed, we noticed how compassionate John was in taking care of my sister's needs and we felt more at peace.

My aunt has been at Bayfront for about a week. All of the nurses, respiratory therapists, nurse's aides, dieticians and more have been so kind and helpful. Tonight, my other aunt remarked that we have not had to deal with a single grouchy person!
So, for John to stand out he had to be exceptional, and he was. We knew that my aunt had respiratory failure but did not know why. We were spending all day waiting, hoping we would hear something. John asked if there was anything he could do for us and we said we'd just like to know when we would hear from the doctor about my aunt's diagnosis. He immediately made some calls and was able to relay a message to us from the doctor. It was such a relief to finally know what the cause of her respiratory failure was and what we could expect, from the worst-case scenario to the best possible outcome.
John was so genuinely caring towards us and to my aunt. Getting our questions answered and his kind clear explanation of the facts of was just what we needed. Again, everyone we have met at the hospital has been wonderful, but today, John gets a 5-star review for helping ease our anxieties and answering our questions.
