John is such a caring, compassionate nurse. On the job, he was always there for me, even going the extra mile. An example of this is when he printed out my many medications to help me understand what to take and when at home. He did this because the packet for hospital discharge was so confusing to me. He also encouraged me when I was down. He made me laugh so many times, which was healing in itself.

I had complete confidence in him pulling the exact meds I was supposed to take. This really lowered my stress levels. I take a lot of meds, and not every nurse got it right, so I had to stressfully keep track at a time when I was sick. Jon never messed up. He is one of the very best nurses I have ever worked with.

He is professional, kind, smart, attentive to detail, and fun. He is perfect for the mental health unit because of all the qualities I have mentioned. He has a personality that promotes healing, especially on the MHU, which is probably one of the hardest places to work. He has a ready smile and seems to love his job. When I go home, I will miss him the most.

Thank you, John, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
