My nurse, John Crown, was one of the most caring, attentive and outstanding persons I have ever had at a hospital stay. He made sure I was able to walk to the bathroom, always beside me, making sure I didn’t fall (mostly because of my pain meds). He found solutions to fix the noise coming from the IV machine and my arm needing to be elevated from swelling by using a warm blanket. His voice alone was soothing and nice to hear because I wasn’t feeling good. Sometimes when he walked by, I would see him glance into my room to check on me. When I rang the bell, he came pretty quickly. I can’t say enough words to describe what an asset he is to the hospital. When a patient is in the hospital they want to be treated with care and compassion. He certainly provided those qualities and went the extra mile to soothe and care for the patients under his care. While a room never opened up for me, I spent the night in the ER cubicle receiving excellent care. I knew I was in good hands with John’s care.
