His compassion, gentleness, honesty, patience and work ethic is unmatched outside of Jesus!
First Nomination: From day 1 since I‘ve worked here, John has been the most amazing nurse I’ve ever met. He’s always willing to help, listen and teach! His compassion, gentleness, honesty, patience and work ethic is unmatched outside of Jesus! John inspires me when I want to give up and he doesn’t even know it. John is loved so loved!
Second Nomination: He is always a team player, compassionate, caring and very professional, but always ready to help out a coworker in anything they need. If he doesn’t have the answer, he goes beyond and meets the need.
Third Nomination: I was admitted to PCU on Good Friday with hypertension and I wanted to be home for Easter. On Easter my blood pressure was still too high to be released. When checking my blood pressure in the afternoon, he got a 120/61 and immediately called the doctor and was told to get another reading in an hour, which he did, and I was released. This meant so much to me. All this attention, and I felt he went above and beyond. He was also Charge Nurse, which he handled so calmly and professionally. John was so kind, thoughtful, and patient. He is a real asset to EGH.
