John was recognized by a patient's wife in a letter that detailed the many small, but significant, acts of caring John demonstrated. She ended the letter with "I had a conversation with John Emilio. I thanked him wholeheartedly for being so kind and patient with my husband. I expressed to him that he was chosen to be the right person to assist in taking care of my husband and what a caring heart he has for others. I know that God was in control when he sent John Emilio to us because John is truly a gift and blessing from God."
