John "Jake" Marshalek, Senior Clinician

My mother has been in the ER at UPMC Muncy twice, and Jake was her nurse both times. He was so wonderful with her- she is quite elderly and forgetful, and Jake was so very nice to her, treated her with respect, and was so attentive. On her first visit to the ER, she had to be transferred to Williamsport Hospital- Jake stopped by the hospital after his shift and sat with her for hours. He is truly a model of compassion and caring.
