My husband was thrown a curveball when my husband suffered a stroke under his care, and he was a rock star. He immediately worked with my husband and involved the necessary medical professionals in his care. I was far away from the hospital when this happened, and he stepped up to be the emotional support my husband needed. He communicated with me in real time what was happening and what the doctors were doing. He listened to my husband and encouraged him to “let it out." He comforted my husband, and when I arrived, he comforted me as well. God put him in my husband's room because he was the best nurse to handle this change in my husband’s health. And the best way to handle the change in my husband’s emotional and mental state. He even stayed past his shift to see him after his surgery because he had promised him he would. Simply put, he is a gem of a nurse! Thank you!
