John Joseph Facundo 2, BSN, PCCN, CMC, CSC

Recently, Sinai Hospital team member John Joseph Facundo (Joe), BSN, RN, PCCN, CMC, CSC, received ten heartfelt nominations this quarter from patients, peers, and family members. Joe is known for delivering compassionate care to his patients and going the extra mile to promote a healing environment. One nomination was from a family member who described how Joe wrote hand-written notes to his wife every day to help alleviate the loneliness that she felt. Another nomination explained how Joe was able to manage a patient’s pain when no one else could by developing a medication regimen that worked in conjunction with using supportive measures. All ten describe Joe as kind, compassionate, and skilled. He is an asset to our hospital!
