John consistently goes above the standard of care for each and every patient. This RN has no problem training, teaching, sharing experience, and trying to pass on expertise to the team. We receive many compliments regarding this level of care. The compliment received that prompted the DAISY Award was, “I have to reach out to you to tell you what an amazing job John Misigah, RN, did with my mother-in-law’s SOC. Everything from explaining each sheet in the SOC folder to his impeccable infection control practice was perfect. At first, I thought it was because I was present. But, I soon realized through his cadence and dialog that it was all him! Having walked the mile in his shoes, I have to commend his professionalism, compassion, empathy, and nursing skills. John was absolutely great!” This compliment was from a fellow RN who knew the home care job well. This nurse has such a wonderful rapport with patients that we have actually had patients say they will wait for the nurse to return to work (while on a short leave of absence).
