We were expecting an elderly patient from Havasu to arrive via private vehicle. The driver was the 88-year-old husband. They got lost on their way here, they do not have navigation, and it is in the middle of the night/early morning. They called our unit and John helped them arrive safely by serving as their navigation, giving them directions on where to go or turn. He was on the phone with them for almost one hour. Now that is exemplary humankindness!!! From an EXTRAORDINARY Nurse.

My wife and I got lost arriving at the hospital so we called the contact number, John directed through the detour area to the hospital from his cell phone. Throughout our stay he seemed to anticipate my wife’s every need and accommodated her in every area. John, appears to me, to have all the best qualities of a people person, so he has picked the most appropriate career. My wife and I appreciate the outstanding dedication shown to us and the other patients during our visit, though brief. My comment to the administrators of this health care system is to hang on to persons like John with both hands.
