Nursing will be very lucky to have his commitment, caring, intelligence, and professionalism to drive us forward.
John is an exceptional student. He is kind and considerate of his classmates in all interactions. He praises successes and gently provides suggestions when a peer is struggling. His participation in Discussion Boards is excellent, spurring his classmates on to engaging dialogue -- he makes a strong connection with them. As an MSN student, John is also a clinical faculty member with VTSU, in addition to his bedside nursing role. He is a strong student who is making connections between these varied roles and is already identifying ways in which he can make a difference to current and future students of nursing. In our class activities that require peer feedback and involvement, John consistently receives positive comments and is seen as a high-performing student by his peers.
As his faculty and advisor, I admire his commitment to nursing and nursing education. I love his enthusiasm and his innovation. He has great plans to take this MSN degree forward and to study education at a doctoral level. Nursing will be very lucky to have his commitment, caring, intelligence, and professionalism to drive us forward.
