John Thompson is an exceptional human being, who takes pride in his work and relationships. He is very compassionate, well-informed, and knowledgeable in his field. He has continually gone the extra mile in providing nonstop and if necessary round the clock care to my husband who is a retired disabled veteran. A man who is in constant pain is panged with the different ailments that dilute his quality of life. But with the empathy, compassion, knowledge, and care John continues to give him, and the way he makes himself available by text 24 hrs a day when my husband has breakthrough complications, John walks me through the care I can provide to my husband with integrity and quality that my husband deserves for the life he has laid down for his country. John provides exceptional care with quality and beyond care and has connected with our family in such a way as he has been adopted by us as our family. I believe from the bottom of my heart as well as my husband's, John meets all the requirements and exceeds them all. Not giving this nomination to him would be a disservice to this country and the many people he provides care to. And an extreme disservice to him.
