Johnny Carter came in today to teach me about diabetes. Truly, I was not interested in this and did not feel that I needed this. We have 2 grandkids that have type I diabetes, and I thought he could not tell me anything I did not already know. But this was not true as there were things I did learn from Johnny.

He was probably the best person to teach this as he has had diabetes since he was 5 years old. He knows all the ups and downs of diabetes. He was very knowledgeable and was interesting and funny to listen to and talk with.

Really he needs to talk with everyone as he has a great personality and is able to get the message across to the patient.
